Kerri selected for Irish National Team, April 2008
Kerri Shields has been selected for the Irish team to play in the European Team Championships in Amsterdam between 30 April and 3 May 2008.
It was a tough challenge
, Kerri commented, as selection all rested on winning the West of Ireland tournament over the Easter weekend in Galway. Things were level between me and another Irish girl, Tanya Owens, but thankfully I was focused and everything came together well on the day. I beat her 3-1. I was simply thrilled and I'm really looking forward to going to the Europeans with Ireland at the end of this month!
